Grupo Gransolar is a vertically integrated group of companies specialising in photovoltaic solar energy and battery storage systems. Despite being an established player in the sector, the group had no website or unified brand presence of its own each subsidiary had its own site and visual identity, but the group as a whole was invisible online.

The goal was clear: create a corporate website that could serve as a presentation tool for major investors, conveying solidity, scale and technical credibility.

I led the full design and development of the website in WordPress, working from the visual identity guidelines provided by the group's marketing department. A graphic designer collaborated on part of the visual design. All front-end development and final production were my responsibility.

Starting from scratch meant the first decision was also the most important: defining what kind of website this needed to be. This wasn't a commercial site or a lead generation tool, it was a trust-building asset aimed at a very specific audience: large investors.

That shaped every design decision. I prioritised a clean, authoritative visual language that let the group's scale and expertise speak without distraction. The structure was kept simple and deliberate, guiding the visitor through the group's identity, its subsidiaries and its track record in a logical sequence.

Working within an existing set of brand guidelines meant the challenge was less about creating a visual identity and more about translating it faithfully into a web experience maintaining coherence across a group with multiple brands underneath it.

The website launched as the group's primary presentation tool for investor relations. Its longevity speaks for itself: the site was never replaced, remaining the group's corporate face throughout my time at the company and beyond.
